Someone calling themselves Gap Lion Lover ----obviously from Cranfills Gap, Texas, and famliar with the Carla Sigler fiasco as the 2006/2007 superintendent of the Cranfills Gap school---left a comment on the blog entry "Rethunk and Tyrants" . I then left them an answering comment. If you would like to read these comments, they are both at the end of the blog entry , "Rethunk and Tyrants".
It is interesting to hear what local folks have to say about the shameful Gap happenings. However, anyone is mistaken if they think I have hatred in my heart for the Cranfills Gap school board members.... I have no hatred for anyone, not even Carla Sigler---I only feel pity and disgust for them all. And as for my seeking revenge, I don't have to do a thing. I have faith that the Lord will take care of it. "Vengeance is Mine", saith the Lord. And I trust the Lord to take care of it. I just hope He lets me know the where and the when and the how. .
And if the Cranfills Gap school cannot be turned around, it won't be the end of the world. There are other schools nearby, and the town itself would survive, though a hollow shell of itself. If that were to happen, it can be laid at the feet of Carla Sigler and her buddies. It would be sad, but there are a lot of sad things in this world, and somehow we still keep on going. The one constant in this world is change, and sometimes, that is just the way things are.

I left some additional thoughts in the other post. I am from the Crafills Gap area, as are 4 generations of my family. I can tell you that nothing will happen to this school if everyone works together for the good of the school. The school has already turned around 180 degrees. That is why I have tried to kindly ask you to focus on Carla, but let the school and those trying to run it move on and "keep going". I am glad to hear that you do not hold hatred in your heart for the members of the school board. I will ensure that all who have followed your blog and thought otherwise are aware of that. Hopefully, some of them will read this blog and hear this for themselves.
